Research

I'm a researcher at the Department of Electronic Engineering, University College London.
My telecoms research ranges from data networks, network planning and management to complex systems and large-scale system design.  I've worked on de-centralised network control, optical network planning and next generation high-speed metro networks.

My current work deals with power-laws in telecoms network topologies.  I'm currently completing my PhD thesis entitled "An Investigation into the Scale-Free Nature of Heterogeneous Networks".

I've also been working on the EU IST FW5 project MESCAL, which deals with interdomain IP QoS.
More recently I've been working on the AGAVE project, which is investigating a more lightweight approach to interdomain QoS.
